This is Ginger , she is a 2 year-old female Dogo Argentino. Ginger is very well behaved and listens well to her humans. We took on Ginger in late December after her owner was unable to keep her separated from her older female Dogo housemate. Unfortunately, it is very common for a dominant breed like the dogo argentino to have dominance related issue with dogs of the same gender.
Ginger
has some battle scars from her disputes with her housemate but she is a very sweet girl and has shown no issues with a large male dogo we have on sight or the female dogo we own.
Ginger
is very energetic and needs an active lifestyle. The dogo was developed for hunting and the prey drive is very strong in this breed.
Ginger
has been in the field with her previous owner and she has proven to be an accomplished example of all a dogo is intended to be.
Ginger
is extremely loving and loves cuddling and rubs. She will win you over with her beautiful eyes and her distinctive double teardrop eyeliner. She is crate trained and has shown great discipline with her potty habits.
Ginger
is familiar with an e-collar and response well to voice commands or gentle corrections.
Ginger
is use to being an inside dog and would thrive with and active loving environment.
Ginger
has not yet had her second heat cycle, so the previous owner had not spayed her yet. More about GingerQuiet, Requires a yard
